Winemaking

Grapes were handpicked at optimum ripeness at the end of September 2020. Grapes come from Stellenbosch and Elgin. Stellenbosch grapes were tank fermented, while Elgin was in second fill barrels. 25% of the wine was in second fill barrels and on the lees for 8 months while the rest was on the lees in the tank.

Tasting Notes

A complex, fruity Chardonnay, creamy and full. Partial wooding gives this wine the edge and shows a beautiful tropical fruit and limy character. Good acidity balancing the fruit and wood.
