We focus on South African wines, which have a great reputation world-wide, and we know that you might already be familiar with some of the big names in the South African wine world. There are, however, over 2,600 vineyards in South Africa and we have therefore made it our mission to introduce you to some of the lesser-known wines, in the hope that you will love them as much as we do.
Our wines come from boutique vineyards and winemakers that produce excellent reds, whites, rosés and Méthode Cap Classique (which is the South African name for sparkling wine produced in the Champagne fashion), that we know you will enjoy and that you cannot purchase anywhere else in Singapore. They are truly unique to the region.

WHO WE ARE
South African Wine Cellar specializes in importing wine of the highest quality from smaller and family run vineyards. There is a lot of very good wine at a very good price in the world, but it is often hidden within it’s locality.The wines with the biggest advertising budgets are rarely the best wines at the best price. Our winemakers skills lie more in wine making than marketing, which makes them that little bit harder to find.
HOW WE WORK
We work hard to understand the winemaker’s point of view and cost structures, but equally communicate with the wine buyer’s expectations in both quality and price.
We have been lucky enough to find partners who share our vision and we are gathering a loyal customer base, who we listen to and and invite opinion upon a regular basis.

South African Wine Cellar travels to source these wines and consults extensively with their winemakers. We concentrate on wines that reflect the land they come from and also the people who make them.
Whether it is centuries of family tradition, or a 1st generation’s attempt to connect with a special piece of land, if the wine stands out from the ordinary, we want to try it.
