Carmen Stevens ‘Julie’ Rosé 2024

Carmen Stevens ‘Julie’ Rosé 2024

Winemaking

The juice for the Julie Rose is a result of the saignée method employed in the cellar. Juice is settled overnight at low cooling temperatures. We select a specific pure yeast culture to eliminate any risk during fermentation. The Julie Rose is cleaned straight after fermentation to ensure the purity of fruit on the nose and palate. The Julie Rose is bottled mid-year of production to ensure the inviting primary fruit is captured.

Tasting Notes

This rosé offers inviting aromas of lime zest, red berries, quince, and juicy watermelon. On the palate, it is light and elegant with crisp lime and watermelon flavors swinging through to a lively, zesty finish. The wine’s minerality and subtle smoky notes add complexity to the refreshing aftertaste, leaving a delicate impression of sweetness balanced by a vibrant mineral edge. The juice, produced by the saignée method, showcases freshness and finesse typical of this style.
