Lammershoek Terravinum Reserve White 2016

Lammershoek Terravinum Reserve White Blend 2016

Winemaking

The white grape blending components for this flavourful wine, all derive from well-aged vineyards using the 3 varietals. As per normal practice on Lammershoek, they are farmed dry-land. Selected grapes from various vineyard pockets were handpicked early morning. The three cultivars were handled separately in the cellar and the final blend was only made-up after eight months of aging. Meanwhile, the wines had been fermented and aged in various size concrete and stainless steel tanks and oak barrels. A year of bottle-aging followed before release.

Tasting Notes

Stone fruits, pears, peaches and citrusy notes with a hint of floral tones. Seductive kick of acidity on the pallet which magnifies the notes of peach, lime and adds floral and wood undertone. A great use of oak to give this a complex, crisp and dry finish.
