Winemaking

A selection of diff­erent pre-selected vineyards. The grapes were picked at optimum maturity and fermented dry on the skin at 25 degrees Celsius. Thereafter the free run portion was aged in oak barrels for 12 months.

Tasting Notes

This merlot provides a deep purple coloured wine, with intense flavours of dark berry fruit, spice and plum notes on the nose. Soft ripe tannins on the palate with a well-rounded and balanced finish.
