Winemaking

The grapes were handpicked in March 2023 at optimum ripeness. The wine was in wood for 16 months. 25% of the wine in 1st fill barrels, and rest in 2nd and 3rd fills. It was bottled in December 2024.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, the wine exudes earthiness, dark spices, with hints of liquorice and vanilla. Blackberries, red plum and raspberry dominate, giving off a luscious and inviting aroma. The red and dark fruit flavours perceived on the nose carry through to the palate, and offer a long chalky finish with chocolate undertones.
