Lozärn Wines Cabernet Franc 2023

Lozärn Cabernet Franc 2023

Winemaking

Picked in small crates and kept in the cold room overnight before being processed and sorted the following day. Grapes are fermented on the skins for 12 days, before being pressed and racked to the barrels. Matured in 1 – 4th fill French barrels for 12 months (12% new wood).

Tasting Notes

This wine showcases refined yet expressive aromas of cranberry, red cherry, and fresh mint that give brightness and depth. The palate is silky and layered with ripe red fruit, delicate spice, and gentle herbal nuances. Fine-grained tannins provide structure leading to a graceful, lingering finish. Matured in second and third-fill French oak barrels for 14 months, it balances freshness with elegant complexity, reflecting the unique terroir of Robertson.
