Picked in small crates and kept in the cold room overnight before being processed and sorted the following day. The grapes were fermented on the skins for 18 days before being pressed and racked to barrels. Matured in 1-6 fill French barrels for 12 months (17% new wood).

Tasting Notes

This wine is a vibrant expression of its terroir, showcasing a deep purple color with aromas of bay leaves, liquorice, cherry tobacco, and dark berry fruits. Matured in French second and third fill barrels for 14 months, it offers a structured palate with rich dark fruit flavors, balanced acidity, and well-integrated tannins. The finish is long and elegant, reflecting both power and finesse, making it a flagship expression of Lozärn’s estate.
