Wellington ‘Duke No 18’ Cab. Sauvignon 2019

Wellington Wines ‘Duke No 18’ Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Winemaking

A selection of different pre-selected vineyards. The grapes were picked at optimum maturity and fermented dry on the skin at 25 degrees Celsius. Thereafter the free run portion was aged in oak barrels for 12 months.

Tasting Notes

A perfect example of a modern-day Cabernet Sauvignon, with typical red cherry, prune and spicy aromas on the nose. The spice and wood aromas show well on the palate.
