Bosman ‘Generation 8’ Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Winemaking
Grapes are hand harvested and destemmed before fermentation onset. Pumpovers are utilized for colour extraction. Before the wine is finished with alcoholic fermentation, it is pressed to make sure that the tannin expression is fine and subtle. Matured for 6 months in contact with 15% new French oak creates a complex wine with supple tannins.
Tasting Notes
Crimson with a purple edge. Beautiful blackberry and plum aromas are rounded out by a long, fresh fruit-packed finish. A velvety taste with a fruity, lingering finish.

Special Notes
Our farm in the Bovlei is well suited to the cultivation of Cabernet Sauvignon. Early summers give the grapes time to ripen, while well-drained soils and a myriad of slopes form the basis of interesting terroir variations which enhance the complexity of the wine.
